blinkers?

the guy just spent most of his adult life with 400bhp cosworths, how is he blinkered to BMW

every single one of the BMW drivers on this site was a ford driver beforehand. how many cossie owners you see used to own M5s?

also i have a nice 20 mile trip on the motorway to home

im 100% sure the m5 could do that flat out on the limiter if required...

do you think a cossie would enjoy 20 miles flat out?

probably about there,

but dont forget, the m5 has no lag, it makes over 300lb/ft at 3000rpm

the only bad thing for the beemer is weight, she is heavy, but thats not quite so important when rolling,

true but 400bhp cossie dont forget if done right should make near 400lbf and is hell of a lot lighter.. So dont count it out in speed respect. Just M5 are awesome all rounders.

Maybe it was me or the 86K miler i nearly bought but i found it a bit lazy if im honest.

Loads of torque but not very chuck you in the seat... There was like a delay between pressing the pedal down and it actually going. (maybe it was the one i was gonna buy)

Not like a T38 cosworth anyway.

Over 120 im sure you would be there but surely the cossie would beat you up to that sort of speed.

It would be a good race to see.

I say someone meet up with jay and see how it goes.

And i have no preference to either.

Other than an escos looks about 100 times better.

Youres is a real nice colour though

this shit is fucking boring, cossies=superb at what they do. m5=superb in everything they do, how the hell you compare one car that cost 20k to one that cost 65k is beyond me and i own one of each and have done for years and years, and to the wallopers going on about getting a stage 3 one to race an m5!! behave, my cossie is well beyond a stage 3 and has less than 40k on it and you know what? ITS A BAG OF SHIT COMPARED TO MY M5.
