Cool lovely surprise mate. Bray is a LOVELY part of the world.

You doing the tasting menu I presume? make sure you do the wine tasting with it as well. REALLY adds to the experience.

Its a fun 3 hours!... a good laugh and well worth doing and you wont have food like it anywhere else!

Personally I think its just too mad. I prefer Ramseys Hospital road. Hestons food is just too crazy... and some of it is very rich and sickly in my opinion.

The last 2 courses (of 11 course!!!) are just tooo much. You finish with a english breakfast with a twist and I didnt like the parsnip cereal or the Egg and bacon icecream to be honest. Yuk...

You won't regret going, even though its PROPERLY PROPERLY expensive.... the 2 of you will spend Ł500 easy!

Sounds of the Sea! you have to listen to this....

whilst eating this...

the 'sand' is fried baby eels amonst other stuff! weird...

That liquid being poured is minus 150 degrees!

Got loads more boring food pics that my sis took.

I wont spoil it for Mondeo man though. Enjoy. Let me know what you think mate.

I work in bray literally 1 min up the rd from the Fat Duck. Heston filmed his chirstmas special in our carpark.

Wish i had the spare money to eat in there. Heston also owns the Hinds head pub next door to the Fat Duck. I have eaten there and the triple dunked chips are proper tasty

Bray is so lovely. Been there a few times for Fat duck and once for a mates wedding on Monkey Island!

I'd like to work there. Lucky you. Very peaceful!

Go for it with the photo's Porkie i'd love to see them, I know what to expect anyway, just wondered what you made of it all. I love my food and am in no way that well off but it's a proper treat for Mrs Mondeo Man to say thank you for something.

We did Gordon Ramsey at the London in NY in Nov 07 and we did wine matching there, it was amazing, honestly couldnt believe the skill of matching wine to what was being served, that kind of thing has to be tasted to believe. We loved it so much we managed to get into Maze the night after!

Spoookily... I am on hold to Maze as I type going tonight and need to put the table back 30 mins!

You will love the wine matching here as well. I don't like desert wines for example... but the first desert wine that the match to the 'sherbet fountain (prehit)' is off the rader. Match made in heaven!

My fav dish was the Snails Porridge! Its amazing....

and the Salmon in Liqourice. Yummy!

The cheapest wine matching is fine by the way.
