Rare on a k plate but nothing special just prob sat i a field for a year or so before being sold.
same as any other RST
reg don`t mean nothing just the year it was reg on the road.
My work sold some old shape transits new on 52 plate happens quite a lot just old stock.

i have seen a red k plate was for sale in rallye news rsoc mag about 2 year ago ive also come across a m reg magenta saph with cream leather on a m reg theres plenty of reasons why these cars pop up mainly late registered where theyve been sat in a yard unregistered for years and then years later get registered so i 100% believe ya mate

Did you say it was grey mate? Me and my mate saw a grey K plate S2 Turbo in Dalgety Bay, Fife about a year ago, totally standard, orange indicators and all!

i cant see the attraction with motors that are late registered. its still the same car as the one that was on the line at the same time.
there could still be a newer built car with an older plate as well.
i never bother about plate when i buy a car just when it was built and is it in good nick thats all that really matters.
anyone that pays extra money is a mug imo.

yeah its the same as the D Reg Series 1's, they just sat about stored for a while longer, then was Registered a bit later, all the Series 1's built finished at a certain time. There is a Pic of some un-registered series 1's in rally news too.

I know it was built from a shell but if you can get a three door on a 'Y' reg (2000) a 'K' plate series two is certainly not difficult to achieve.
Don't undertstand why private owners, garages, dealers leave these cars lying about for years

Yea, but D plate S1's make alotr more than B and C plate ones.
Ok its maybe not amazing a K plate S2, but in my books its still Rare and going buy the look over i gave it it was fooking mint (which is RARE for a S2 lol.
Id bet alot of money that it would fecth alot more than a H plate in the same condition.

Hows that?
you'd have to be a bit of a mug to pay more anyway, the ONLY reasons it would be worth more is if it was BETTER condition and LOWER miles better HISTORY.

Yea obviously ud pay the most for the car in the best condition, no matter what the age..
my point was, if u had a C, reg S1 and D, reg S1 both in identical condtion the D, reg would make more, due to being more RARE, thats a fact.
