Default Uprated Engine Mounts

I recently got some deflex bushes for the beantin. I didn't order the engine / gearbox mount or the uprated zorst rubbers, now I am thinking I should have done, are they worth it? They aint much money anyway

As above

Vibratechnics dramatically reduce the amount the engine moves but I've found with mine that it really makes the car vibrate & the exhaust rattle on idle but definitely well worth it.

I got Vibra technics box mounts and a standard engine mount and all feels fine on mine.
No Vibrations etc, engine doesn't really move at all.

Mind you I did manage to completely shear my engine mount
The rubber was torn through and the metal bracket had sheared in half with engine just being supported by the gearbox mounts

Did my grudge match with Oranoco for Performance Ford like that

Just phoned Deflex. I didn't know but they have a prototype engine mount which is not for sale yet, they offered it to me foc but wanted me to test it and research it I opted out, as much as I am up for free stuff, wouldn't want the responsability / or my engine falling out So if anyone has a mk4 and wants to help them give them a call!

I am gunna wait a couple weeks when they are in full production and order one, the gearbox mount they do, but thought id wait for them both and my zorst rubbers

bastards i phoned em the other week asking if they done gearbox cradle mounts for my fiesta (same as mk4 escort) and they said no. If they had said i would have tested it. Im running vibratechinics anyways but manged to break the front one within three months so ive gone for a competion one instead or road one now and its a lot better but does cause some vibration but not much

What's the code for the gearbox mounts? Their webstore doesn't seem to list them.

Yes, the top one, he said it is complicated cos it has loads of different fittings to it No idea on price, it was gunna be foc to me

Have no idea mate, no they don't list them on the website. I got an add from the back of a fast ford ? issue and they are there. Failing that give them a ring
