just checked my credit rating online as i have been refused for a loan, odd i thought.

had a look - and according to my credit report, i'm bankrupt from some time back in 1991


damn my dad for having the same name - all his fault for declaring himself bankrupt ages ago. anyway, put a contesting notice in stating that in 1991 i was 7 years old and didnt even know what bankrupcy was back then - should at least be able to sort my credit rating out from shite to alrite

dad is in for a fuckin when he gets home - i aint impressed

As long as you've got your notice of correction on u should be fine

Go back to the loan company and tell them that if they don't check dates of birth they must be a bunch of cowboys!!!

I had this a couple of years ago cos my dad has the same name as me and had a CCJ - you will need to call them and ask to be sent some forms to disassociate you from your dad and anyone else you may be living with. They basically think that anyone at the address you live at is finacially linked - it's not too much hassle all i did was fill the forms in for my mum dad and sister, they just got them to sign them.
