Am I right in thinking that his old car was a reshell and he did tell the buyer that?

reason I ask is my m8 was about to travell 500 miles round trip tommorow to look at (probably buy knowing him!) an audi quattro. tonight he asked me to look at the car on the net and give my opinion, the seller has absolutely loads of cars for sale and whilst browsing found he is the one selling Jays old 500

have warned my m8 off and just want to confirm I'm right?

jays was reshelled IIRC many years ago

didn't want to disturb you this late paul, my m8 was going to set off really early in the morning to look at the audi and wanted to tell him that the seller isn't exactly honest when selling cars!
presuming he isn't telling prospective buyers that it has been reshelled that is, deffo not in the advert anyway..

me personally would not go near it!i asked the same question about this car a little while ago!and whilst it might well be a good car to me its not a 500 as it has not got the right numbers on the shell,plus it has not even got the 500 block in it(which in my mind is one of the main reasons of the 500 its unique engine!)all imo of course!
