I'm new to the Bay of E so I could do with a bit of guidance from you people

I want to advertise something on there with a reserve price (no probs so far )
Once I've filled all the sections out it comes up with a price that I have to pay (that's cool )

What I want to know is... If the item doesn't meet the reserve price do I still pay the higher fee (reserve price fee) or just the basic listing fee?

Also, what about if I remove the item for sale before the end of the auction?

if your item doesnt sell you only pay the listing fee.... if you remove the item(which must be done at least 12 hours before end... and you may have to retract any bids which have been made on the item) you still have to pay the listing fee....hope this helps
