Default OE switch/button printing - can anyone do it?

Looking at the labelling on these 4 buttons/switches - would it be possible to have the writing ammended/changed properly to look factory?

Any info appreciated

To get it properly silk-screened won't be particularly cheap - I know of a supplier who can do it for Ł100 minimum charge, which I think that would qualify for.

The other option (which may be how it's been done by the oem) is to have the new legend laser/mechanically engraved/embossed to e.g. 0.25mm, then paint it in and wipe away any excess. This should be cheaper as anywhere with CNC mill or laser cutting facilities could do it.

Cheers for the info Cam...

If it was Ł20 for a factory finish job - i'd probably do it...

Ł40 suddenly seems a LOT of money though

Try a watch/jewellery shop for mechanical engraving, if you don't need fancy graphics etc....

Or give CEL in Telford a ring

Basically i've got a blank 2 switch panel in my dash at the moment, i'm wanting to get something like from the above photo and modify the 2 switches to control my nitrous arming swith and bottle heater

So would only be after a bit of lettering to indicate which is which

letraset/laquer or mechanical engraving paint will be your best/cheapest options

we do similar on aircraft switch gear, the plastic we use is effectivelly clear perspex with a matt black over it then engrave at a few microns to show the white/clear underneath

Will, bear in mind that the switches are non-latching as the systems are controlled via the GEM in a focus. You will therefore need either a latching relay or an electronic latch circuit which would take up less space (can build you one if you need it).
