Put a cover over it after you take a wheel off,that way it stops more knobs seeing it.i have done that in the past after somebody rammed my garage door to get to my s2,they stole my neighbours clio instead.they have seen it now so if they are thieving scum they will be back.

when i had the EsCos, where we lived before, it started attracting attention,
One day i found a crow bar under the car,
So i went on the computer and printed Ford Escort 1.3 Cosworth replica, full esp fibreglass bodykit, 3 months mot, needs sound system etc etc £800.
and put a old mobile number in the add.
had a few local people come up to me asking is it real after that, i was like no just a replica, and no one payed any attention to it after that.

if you remove the front suspensino, they can't put wheels on it to tow it away which means something will need to be dollied up to it, much more conspicous
also, if you've got the time to get one of them security posts that sink into the ground, that saves untold aggro as you just lift it up and lock it up, for extra security, put it 2

It was still there this afternoon when we drove past, even saw a little head pop up from the enigne bay when we beeped 
Most of the people in me street think im mad as fuck anyway, them all being woken at 4.30am by me shouting & running up and down in just a pair of shorts waving a baseball bat about just confirmed it
They would think twice about taking it when something that looks like it has closer genetic links to a lion than a dog is sat on the back seat like

if i was you i would go to your local qvs or screwfix and get a cheap cctv camera you can pick them up for about 50quid night vision and everything and they just plug straight in to your tv and recorder, thats what i have done for peace of mind, although im watching my car more then my tv now lol
