oil consumption

How to find out the reason of increased oil consumption? I put new valve seals, but it didn't help. So, it can be turbo or piston rings. Can I find out the reason without disassembling of engine and turbo? oil consumption now is 1L/500km

what oil are you using? also when was it last set up, as overfuelling can lead to petrol getting into the sump & thinning the oil making it use loads
