ok here on the other side of the channel its 3am now. My alarm clock is going on 4am. i then step in my truck at 4:30 to pick up my trailer loaded with 25tons of aluminium. Then i have to drive to Dusseldorf Germany for 3 freakin hours get unloaded asap and drive to Neuss in germany and load for Deventer in holland to unload before 3PM. And i am up since 8am sunday. Now whats wrong with this story

i know how ye feel mate i'm on a bloody rig at the moment having completed nearly 2 weeks of night shift then when i go home the other half expects me just to be able to get in to my normal sleep pattern in a couple of days!!!

Totally the opposite, I slept all night last night for the first time in Months, I was just at the point where I was gonna go to the doctor about it, never used to do that ever, weird....
Anyway back on topic.....that sounds pretty OTT TBH, what's your employers stance on this, are they aware your having to do this, or is this your own choice?

Funnily enough I had a shit night Saturday night, woke up at 04:30 Sunday morning and couldn't get back to sleep. I felt real shit and miserable yesterday, but I'm bang on today.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
yeah i had trouble sleeping,so i stopped drinking caffine after midday and it has made abit of a difference,i do feel for you tho,bet your eyes are burning and if thats not enuf you have to really concentrate while your driveing while half awake and still meet your targets on time..........stuff that......
I didnt had any probs that day.
