My old Polo G40 was a right grin, wasnt the quickest, bout 145bhp but only about 750kg, had nowt in it to say it was the top of the range when new, no leccy windows, no power steering (to this day its the heaviest steering car i've ever driven) shit brakes but it used to torque steer like a bastard and up to a ton it used to see off most of the local idiots modded nova's/R5's ect ect.. would have it back tomorrow, p/x'd it for a S1

my first ever car i bought me self rs2000 BKH5T fully loaded twin 44 idf carbs slippy diff cage billies the works,156bhp .had it 4 3 months and went to blackpool 4 dirty weekend with missus,been there 4 2 hours and some bastards nicked it

My Xr2 Turbo which was built by ma and my mate.
Had owned the car for 2 years previously as a std Xr2.
Stripped it to death.
would have welded up the rusty bits but didnt have any
Total bare metal respray with a bit of blue in it.
Bought a s2
stripped that, swapped everything needed over.
Half leather 88 spec recaros, trimmed rear myself
the xr2 Must have owed me 5k when i finished it.
WAS FOOKIN MINT.
on xroc stand at Donny 2001
then 2 days later it burst into flames with me sat in the fooker at a set of traffic lights
10 minutes previous, was having a conversation with my dad about how fookin happy i was now everything is going cool.
Worst day of my life. EVER
Would have kept that car forever

gotta be my old 5 turbo
full race spec prima racing engine and straight cut box over 200brake @ the wheels and totally undriveable in the wet . it used to spin up in 5th when the boost came on . was the quickest 5 @ a max flower group thrash at brunters
and the birds loved it too

Would probably be my escort xr3i MFI. I got it at 18 and paid a fortune for the insurance third party only. Drove it everywhere outside of work but only had it 7 weeks as it was apparently breathing oil so got shot of it quick. Got a call from the police about a week after I sold it saying could I retrieve the car from a ditch near my place as it had been written off. Turned out the new owner was a trader and hadnt sent the ownership doc off so just passed on his address. Sadly owning that again doesnt look like a viable option!

my comcourse series 1 my dream car and had everything i wanted on it just spent over 3 grand on a full stage 3 rebuild and what happens? some old bat wiv one leg in a ford galaxy drives straight up my arse end as im sat in traffic minding my own there was alot of that and some of this, when i finally got out of hospital and it all sunk in
