I never really have been a tarmac terrorist, but i do love a bit of dirt and snow drifting. So when we had some snow a couple months back i could not resist!

With cheesy music:

With out:

Now if i dropped a couple of G's on the drive train i am sure i would be more keen to start treating her like this:

Mechanical sympathy in mind, i always give mine a boot full of the loud pedal.
i just observe the warm up/cool down, decent oil and services on time. It will always break but its a cosworth, its there to amuse me so i enjoy it.

I used to knock around with 2 lads who both owned 2wd Saffs, one was on 8Js and stg1, the other on std wheels and stg3.

Between us we absolutely battered the stg1 Saff, it loved it on hot sticky tarmac, destroying tyres in under an hour, rolling back and dropping the clutch in 2nd gear/5k rpm etc etc

The stg3 Saff would alwayd break, spat god knows how many diffs and props out, stripped clutches etc etc

Wierd how the one that made the number always broke haha

I built my old 16v Nova for kicking the s**t out of, that used to love a 7k/3rd gear clutch drop lol

Grown up alot now, although I do miss those days!

Not a Ford I know but still 8)
