whats the point in having a 450bhp car to potter about in? Defeats the object imo

You have a quick car - so you give it death, nothing wrong with it imo, in the right place and time of course

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeah! The honest people are out, and everyone is speakin' the truth rather than what they think makes them look good.

Personally, yes!!

I abuse every car with my name on the log book, it's my religion! It's what they are for, what we spend all our time and money on. It's the pay off from the graft and a release from any day to day stresses.

personally myself if you buy a car to show off in, then go to shows, if u buy a performance car then its there to be used in "performance" terms, if this means using 4set of rubber every 6months (or less!) then its all good in the hood!

everyone loves their fords on here so why potter about in a 550bhp sierra 3door? if u wanted to potter about then get a 1.4 focus or a 1.25 fiesta, give it what it was built for and show everyone what it can do

I dont think he is merely talking about using the performance, the question is aimed at ABUSE not USE.

Perfectly possible to enjoy the performance of your car without being an asshole and coming out of junctions sideways etc, I just prefer doing it that way

There is, for example, NO need for this sort of childish behaviour, which isnt big or clever:

get what you mean chip, i certainly wouldnt muck about on the roads these days with the amount of kids, cars old people etc around you not to mention the possibility of losing your licence to drive your ford the way you want... track days and private ground is a good place to do it, everyone has their limits as to how they would do it i suppose....with some sympathy for the mechanicals its a hit or miss how long u can really abuse the car for.

certain level of abuse i would say is ok but not just hard on to it all the time, its just a ticking timebomb to a box, diff, engien failure with that imo. dont get me wrong i love to see a cossie sliding sideways out a junction now and then it brings a big smile to my face seeing it but i wouldnt be doing it when other people are around or on main roads etc

Rear drive brings out the worst in me , can't beat a sideways exit to a junction or giving a roundabout a lap or two

I wouldnt drive like a twat round a housing estate, but empty roundabouts and out of town T junctions are fair game

Im semi responsible, in that I wouldnt risk hurting passers by etc

If it brakes, I fix it, its better than driving around scared to use it.

My sierra doesnt come out often, but 90% of the times it does, it gets a bit of a pasting, if I wanted to go slow Id drive something economical and if I wanted to behave I would would drive something fwd!

All of the above is lies, and as such not admissable in a court of law
