When you removed the plug lead on number 2, were you getting spark from the lead to the block? If so, check the fuel injector plugs. In the past I have seen one of the pins in the injectior plug connector retract and not fire the injector.

Have done compression test on all 4 cylinders and that is good
THANK GOD !!!

The misfire is spitting out the exhaust and sounds like anti lag with the popping, it also seems very flat when giving it some revs

Any ideas ???????????

Thanks in advance

you haven't mixed up the iscv plug with the injector plug? easy to do if its a 2wd loom as the plug is the same colour iirc 7 number 2 injector is the only the iscv plug will reach

sure you timed it up right?

did you use the old CPS? if so these are quite tempremental; give the connectors a clean and a wiggle

what about phase sensor? new or old

i bet its CPS (crank position sensor)

put new CPS on and still doing it

It seems strange cos you can take lead off plug on number 2 and nothing changes but if you take other 3 leads off it changes noise ,if you no what i mean
