Default ST170 VVT oil valve needed!

The one way valve which sits in the cylinder head is damaged and need's replacing. Looking on Microcat, the seal is available, but not the valve.
Anyone know where I can get one?!

Which valve are we talking about here mate - the one that sits in the oil gallery coming up through the head under the twin front cam cap inside the blue O ring?

If so - you can have mine - i'm not running the VVT

Green triangle at the front? - I shouldn't have any need for it mate - let me do some playing with the head and make sure i'm not going to oil starve anything

Brilliant mate, thanks.

I don't know how easily it comes out. Ford seal the seal, but not the valve..

Is that green triangle the thing you need to block to remove VVT?

I might well have one spare soon too

Yes it is, along with the one in the cam bridge and also the solenoid needs blocking off.

Theoretically - blocking the gallery in the cam bridge cap should prevent flow to the solenoid - i need my head back from the machinist to flow some liquid through to confirm
