This 'was' part of mine.... the x still has it...

Started out life as a VN800

And after lots of arguements about removing the rear seat, it turned in to this:

Its actually in this months 100% Biker magazine.

Its still a twin... but 10 times cheaper than a Harley!

Its just nice and plain and simple!

Not too fussy, if you look closely, youll see an eight ball, a bottle opener, and a dice!

See who can spot em first!

Not a meanstreak its other moniker is a M1800r intruder
I was going to send it to Holeshot for the turbo but after meeting the guys from the Swedish owners group I'm going for a stage3 kit made by Anders Kauupi with 3 way switchable boost 150/200/250rwbhp.
I had a ride on his stage 5 conversion which boasts 450bhp that was insane. 130mph power wheelies so vicious yer arse couldn't bite the seat quick enough lol

i have only ridden sports bikes before, i know they are completly a different kettle of fish so the speak, but what customs/cruisers or whatever you want to call them like round town?
and on long weekend rides?
do they handle really lazy?

A soft tail Harley is comfortable but handles like an ocean liner
An FXR is comfortable and handles like a 70s sportsbike.
A Sportster is as slow as fook and again handles like a 70s bike.
The brakes on all Harleys are crapola and the suspension average at best.
Round town they are great and OK for long rides apart from the vibration getting annoying/causing numbness but on bagger/dresser hogs the vibration is addressed. Handling is like I said previously ponderous and if you come from sportbikes it will take some adjusting to!
I can heartily recommend the 1800 intruder M1800r as a great bridge between the sportbike and cruiser world as it has good brakes (gixer 1000 issue), proper adjustable suspension, its comfortable (ridden 450 miles in a day while touring no problem) and its nickname of being the gixer cruiser is well deserved.
It also depends whether you want to buy into the whole Harley culture thing (). I personally cant recommend Harley ownership other than residual values are damn good for a bike. If it has to be an American twin a Victory Hammer is the bike to have imo.

that russell mitchell builds some great bikes,im not into chromeing things and his bikes are mean n moody looking, plus he hides all the messy cables out of the way too, also i think you can choose an option to change gear by twisting the left hand grip or maybe clutch, been a while now................
also i think that marias bike looks the nuts too,i could see myself on that in me karki chinos and black vest cruiseing down the west coast...................
