What do you guys do to have to get up so early??

I started at 11 today, and finished about half 3!

 

Same as me when im in work.

 

Used to be a mechanic maria!what you do then to work those hours!?

 

I start around half 8 and finish around 6ish. Im a plumber working in lived in houses and dont think people would like you in there houses alot earlier than that, earlier though if its an empty house.

What do you lot do for a living getting up at theose times?

 

Im a business Development manager for an electrical wholesaler now,

Or as most would like to call me 'sales rep'

In all fairness, when im not out on the road, im normally at home or in my branch making phone calls.

When i worked for BMW i normally got up at 6.30 to be in work for 8am, and would finishe anywhere between 6pm to 8pm, was very used to doing 60 hour weeks.

So this job is very refreshing!

If you had any electrical industry knowledge, then id say yes!

There are a few vacancies, one in cambridge, one in peterborough, er...... and one somewhere else but i cant remember!

 

For my sins I'm a postie. I get a lie in these days, we used to start at 04.30 on a Monday and Saturday and 05.00 the rest of the week. It's easy work and you get to hoon about in a van listening to the radio. Happy days.

 

Oh the excitment does car electrics count shame cambridge/peterborough are too far away

 

Ahh your that fool who red lines it in every gear, and reverses at 30mph? not forgetting putting the handbrake on before the van has come to a standstill?

7:50am my alarm will go off tomorrow, in work for 8:30am till about 5/5:30pm

 

i attempt to get up at 7.30 then i have 50mins to get dressed and walk the dog before leaving for work, which im meant to be at by 9am.

im not very good at this though!

 

I'll drag my self out of bed around 8.50 and start work at 9 - so i'll get there about 9.15 i reckon

 

my hours are 9 to 5, but I have to be checking me email all the time. I am going to Rome this weekend and I still have to take my laptop.

Im meant to be on call 24 hours, 7 days a week, but with the lack of payrise ive told them to get stuffed.
So ill be up for 8.30, and in work for 9am, will answer my phone as of 9am and stop answering it as of 5.30pm.

my alarm is always set to 6.15 on a work day, our lass then wakes me up bout 6.50 at work for 8 finish half 4 1.30 on a friday

 

About 10am, proper early start

 

about 0600 on sunday

 

it varies, usually start around 11ish then work until its dark

well i uselly just getting in at those times after working all night lol i work 6 at night 6 in the morning lol

 

5:30am for me.
Sounds acceptable, until I remember that I usually work until 1am.

 

normally up at 6 every morning........but sometimes do "odd" shifts aswell

 

I wake up naturally between 6 and half past and get into work for ten to 8 till around half 5, but use todo half 6 til half 7 mon to fri and 6-3 on sat but dont anymore as theyve stopped my perks so dont do any over time !!
