pretty scary stuff
the past couple of weeks ive sold my car, bought a minibus to convert into a camper van, sold or thrown away pretty much all my possesions, and tomorow, im leaving to go to ireland. my and my old man (he lives over there) are doing a sponsored walk round the coastline of ireland for charity. great!
while im away, my mum and stepdad are packing up their shit, ready to emigrate to america. my old dears gonna be about until september time, renting a little flat, so ill see her when i get back from ireland. bu,t after that, im going travelling in my camper van, and wont see her again back here.
basiclly, after tonight, ill never spend another night at home again! the only possesions ill have will be this campervan, a few tools, and a very few sentimental things from a child my old dear will be keeping. ill have no home, no job, and hardly a thing to my name!
its all crept up on me rather quickly, and the reality of it has just set in. in 24 hours ill be on my way to holyhead to catch the ferry, and thats it....gone!

surprising how little you can live off when you need. i spent peanuts travelling for almost a year (in the africa, asia, etc) cant do it in aus! great experience, will change your whole outlook on life.

ive got a couple of grand due in the next week or so, our expenses (food and fuel) will be covered on the duration of this walk me and my old man are doing, so theres not to much worry there. when i finish that im going to america for a few months, and will work (illegally, but shhhh) while im out there, just to pay my way. then when i get back, im gonna jump in the van and clear off over to the continent, mince about a bit and see what there is to see and aim to end up on the costa del sol, where my dad knows a few people, and i hope to get a bit of work down there.
no real plan beyond that, alot can happen in 12 months or so, so ill just see where im at and what cards ive got to play then.
should be interesting if nothing else, and im sure as soon as i get to ireland ill be fine, but last night and today ive been thinking "SHIT! what the fuck am i doing"

i broke the fiesta a few months back knowing something like this was happening, that my parents were going and id have nowhere to store it. the mondeo ive been using as a runabout sold to some polish chap on ebay whose sending back to his homeland

yeah couldve done with the cunt not dragging his heels getting back to me! ill have to leave it all boxed up for him to collect and leave it with the olds. think ill just give it to him now, but im proper fucked off about it

yeah thats what i was planning on doing! my laptop is old and shit though and has 'low speed' USB ports only, so im wondering if this will hinder how quick itll be?

well!! ive been in ireland a week now, tis a good laugh, but this grief with the shootings is worrying, i wont go into to much detail, but yeah...
been walking plenty, drinking plenty, getting a bit of fishing in and taking it pretty easy! still waiting to get this walk all organised but mad keen to get going!
just thought id pop on and update as i was on the net!

cheers for the kind words and encouragement folks!
just sorted the route for the walk,about to set about figuring out distances and stuff to get some kind of an idea on timescale, when we will be at certain places etc.
watched the kilamanjaro program and its really spurred me/us on.
