I tried to overtake a camper van through the Pennines once on the way to Nobles..
The road was a bit slippier than I first though, so after stepping out across both lanes I was still behind the camper van and not catching!

well if you had corrected the slide right in the first place it wouldn't have snaked down the road, wasn't the spike that did it ,it was you tugging on the steering wheel like a gay homo

PassionFord Post Whore!!
you wont apreciate it until you actually loose it and crash one
well in my case
i lost it once yesterday at bedford at the end of the day too
my tyres gave up after a few laps and i was 4 wheel drifting round some corners
im still a beginner but i know now how to control sideways action at low speeds
higher speeds are another thing

do bedford
no solid walls no tyre walls and plenty of tarmac and grass
2 great 2nd gear sideways hairpins and the corner leading to the main straight is a great 3rd gear sideways corner i had an awesome time.

Get some standard rims with crap tyres, find a nice quite industrial estate at night, wait untill its about 22:00 when there is some dampness around and then just go and play. once you learn how to control the car using the throttle and a little steering its good fun.
Dont know about anyone else on here but my 2WD will kick the rear end out in 3rd and 4th when accelerating hard in the rain and to catch a slide at that speed you really need to have had some practice. You wont be the first person to end up facing the central reservation at 80mph you just need the guts to keep the power on and catch it. Guess it all comes with practice.
