Default ***YOUR OPINION PLEASE FOR RS GAZ*** HE NEEDS HELP

for a good while ago now i stripped my car, to near enough a bare shell for painting underneath, now since its been off the road i have bought all new parts for it, had everything powder coated etc etc.... now it went to the painters and was there for approx 4 weeks

look here
https://passionford.com/forum/viewto...351&highlight=

now id rather not go into details too much but lets just say after paying a hefty whack to have the underneath painted it wasnt up to much IMO ONLY, now i know ppl are going to say why bring the car back from the painters but at the time i had hired a tranny van, a car trailer, me and my dad had both booked days off work, i had to drop the engine in, as well as fitting the rear end and get it home in the day

now the car wasnt going to be any concours thing but i had specifically asked for things to be done which werent..... and the finish underneath was far from how i wanted it

now heres the question

bolt all the old crappy bits back on it and the new bits combined and then just drive the fooker, having pretty much wasted all my time?

drop the beam ,diff etc and drop the engine out again and nitromors all the car underneath and go back to bare metal and have it painted proper this time by someone i can trust.... who has already been sourced

them are my 2 options, ill let you lot decide, cos ive had enough here and have lost all interest in the car to be honest

thanks GAZ

Sort it now or you will have wasted your time and money if its not the way you wanted it to be in the end.

Get it sorted.

cos ive had enough here and have lost all interest in the car to be honest
surely this quote sums up what you should do , if youve lost interest in the car bolt it back together and sell it

Or leave the bits off it and break it

strip it and start again

take it back to who ever did the work the last time and tel them to put it right or try and get some money back from them as you have to have it done again by someone who will do a better job than them

Not being funny but if you have paid for a service and not got that service i would be going back to get what i paid for.

Do you NEED the car as an every day run about?

If not carry on and get it done how you want
