just went to get road taxt on my van, renewed insurnce yesterday (expired this fri) and thought id order my tax online as insurance hasnt come through yet, but they dont update site often enough and wont tax it due to the old insurance expiring before this one is due altough its been renewed

 

i insured my truck on a friday and taxed it sat morning online

all was good

new disc arrived in couple of days

 

swat a notice in window,tax in post when internet gets up to speed

 

i just tried doing mine online !
coz it is on a traders policy it is coming up as not insured , even though i have listed it on the mid database .
bugger , i will have to que in the post office for an hour on saturday

 

just hope the post office is better upto date lol

 

ive had no probs with the online thing!

ordered it thursday came friday! well happy!

 

Doesnt matter. If youve got the documents including insurance certificate, you are fine.

 

Insured mine on a Friday, MOT on a Saturday, applied for tax online same Saturday. Tax arrived Tuesday. Cool

I had to wait 24 hours before my insurance was "activated" or whatever on the road tax website.

 

i got my reminder, went online to tax it the first date it was able to be taxed @ 3pm, tax disc came the very next day
