What do you think it weighed?
1300kg?
more?
more I reckon. Sierra was 1275kg. Escort was alot heavier from memory.

Dont forget Mart was running an R+D 6 speed that helps the sprint times compared to a 5 speed syncro equipped car

Agreed on the transmission, his new car doesnt seem able to match the acceleration times despite way more power!

Yes its an OSG sequential skyline box now, but he still doesnt seem to be able to match the awesome times from his old car, that really did work exceptionally well for its spec!

hmm i might have to ad that my car weighs 1430kg WITHOUT me in it and am running a fixit box with fucked up gearing.
1. 95km/h
2. arr. 150km/h
3. 195km/h
4. arr. 245km/h
5. 295km/h

And to be honest, that´s not a good gearing for ANYTHING

definately points to 600bhp+ then to get those sort of times!

Yep..... 60kg heavier. I have not tried to match the old cars sprint figures yet, will have a go this year but there's adjustability now in the torque split so a bit of experimentation will be needed.

1300kg is a good weight considering I reckon

Yeah I can imagine it taking more practice now.
On the T6 presumably you can map the split based on front and rear wheel speeds like you could on Autronic Sm4 ? So given a bit of programming you should be able to make it work very well consistantly by largely relying on the map?

I could make some sarcy comment like you did about my memory of Dumped's car from yesterday, but instead I will just think it .

I thought everyone close to Martin knew the weights of his cars - perhaps you're just not in the loop any more?

Was very tempting! The gearbox has TOTALLY changed the car... its REALLY fierce now. Just always on the boil, and being on boost all the time because of the extra and shorter ratios meant that the whole car felt 'tighter' and more controllable if that makes sense?
