Is it possible to get insured on a car for one day at the age of 18. As many of the companies say 21+, any suggestions.

Most are 21+...

Most also insist upon you having held a driving license for a minimum period of 1 year also.

What you might want to try is if the vehicle is already insured you could ask whoever the insurer is if you could be added to the policy on a temporary basis.

 

My insurance included a number of days of temporary cover for other vehicles (30 days per year iirc)

I've used it a couple of times with a couple of different cars and it didn't cost a penny, had to be for a minimum of 48 hours each time though

Maybe it's worth giving your exisiting insurers a call to see if they offer something similar

its not for me its for a mate you see but he just wanted the one day policy and nothing to do with his current policy.

Also he has been passed for a year but he trying everything just trying to see can you guys help
