sorry for quoting the wrong time , they were the ones on the ad ![Rolling Eyes](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)
i dont know the up to date times, they do sound rather quick now ha ha
but them other times, for 1000hp compared to times of kev sharps with 350hp less i didnt think were spectacular, but running a 9.7 quater at 150 it nuts![god](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/dieu.gif)

Just ONE line up in the advert is says this...
' Top Speed Class Winner 4WD Rocket Ronnie Abbey Motorsport R33 GTR 203.9mph standing 1 mile
Redline TOTB 5 1/4m Drag Shootout Champion- Rocket Ronnie Abbey Motorsport R33 GTR
Nitrous Oxide Supplies – Drag Shootout Champion- 24ct Gold plated Nitrous bottle Winner-Rocket Ronnie Abbey Motorsport Skyline R33 GTR
Rocket Ronnie 9.74s 1/4 mile at TOTB 5
Elvington in the orignal engine spec 2.7 Trust Motor T78 std gearbox 209mph in a 11/4 ( I think)
9.74 1/4 in a full weight 9 tonne Skybus... and then at the mile marker doing 203mph
as you say. Its nuts.

If you used the car it would need a yearly rebuild. There are quite a few circa 1000bhp GTRs but the majority of the ones I know get run rarely and are as much about bragging rights owning a 1000bhp car. 10k+ is what a rebuild costs from the big name GTR tuners (and yes they do take the piss). I cant publically post of instances I personally know about of well known GTRs going boom but being kept quiet about but they are numerous.

2k+ for a block and 1.5k for bare head casting as few dare use a 2ndhand casting for fear of it being already cracked.
