and if money was no object i don't no what i would pick but i know it wouldn't be a mk5 1400 esco thats for sure all i've said from the start is i don't like to be a sheep and would prefer to drive something a bit different

lol right your money where your mouths are then lad's i still struggles to see where i call my mk5 rare, prestige, or state that it's better than sports cars, i dread to think how you managed school if you struggle to read plain english

that is all

and it's just such a shame they don't make a 3 door it would be beautifull then and a nice place to sit instead of stuffed behind a poxy little door, then again i'm 6'4" so notice it more than others

and i will report so far a new supercharged mini has been the best fun to drive then the 1.8t A3 but i've only had a taster of what's out there and i didn't rate the 330D soft top that i had a go in it was a bit of a mellon tbh lol

but you do have to admit the evo would be stunning if it was a 3 door if they made a version like they did with the scooby P1 it would fly out of the show rooms, and i'd have one too when i saved up for a couple of years that is

but also search for an evo and see how many hits come up

and who said a rare car is a drivers car i bet alot of classics and rare cars are like a shed on wheels to drive but that doesn't stop them from being rare. again not calling my mk5 rare

i also never said my esco was a better drive than an evo i no they are a good drive i just also think there is a lot of computing power going on to help you drive it and i prefer it was more left down to the driver than a box under the dash, you get more of a feel of a car that isn't controlling you

and i'm not slating the evo i just think that it does have a lot of computing going on it has active diffs so there must be a lot going on there, just with all the ranting that goes on with them if you turned the chips off then i'm sure it wouldn't be as good as before but it's computers is what makes the car.

and sometimes it's not always about speed and more about grin factor which you get more from a car that is less controlled by itself, if i was to enter into a race then an evo would be a good choice but if it was just to have pure fun in then i would prob's choose differently

every one has their opinion, just mine is different to yours
