I have had mine nearly 5 months and it really is as good as everyone says! Some of the early models apparently can use upto 1 liter of oil every 400 miles!! Mine is pre facelift but has used less than a liter in 3000 miles so depends on the car it would seem.

There are no bad points about the car. I drove it to paris and back and it was faultless, averaged 26 mpg, i honestly dont think there could have been a better car for the job. Power is awesome, handling is awesome, comfort is awesome...

Average mpg is 17 on mine. But there is nothing you can buy for the money, or even double the money (!) that ticks as many boxes. Just be careful what you buy, and drive a few before you buy because good and bad cars are like day and night.

id been thinking about getting one of these or an e46 m3 and yesterday i went and done a deal on this http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/881103.htm
I wasnt to sure i was doing the right thing as i do like my cars more track based
and when i was on the motorway on the way home i was thinking, this comfort thing is boring!
however when i got on to some more interesting roads i was amazed by the handling it just shouldnt be possible in a car this big!!its really grown on me today and im not missing my evo at all its so smooth and quite and then put your foot down and its like waking the beast! still not figured out how everything works as there are so many toys.the only big problem ive got with it is my garage being 4735 long and the car 4785 witch has pissed me off as its now parked on the road, so going to extend a slot for the boot to get it in there!

Cracking choice mate and you will enjoy her more as you get used to the apparent size and start to treat her like a small car.

Have to say though, tyres are everything, the single best thing did to mine was to fit some Pilot Sports all round.
