escos replica, fitting centre console and armrest, annoying
ive got an escort cosworth centre console and proper leather armrest assembly and am fitting it to my xr3i cos replica. the front half of the unit is all fitted and looking class 
but i cant fit the rear armrest section cos the handbrake is completly in the way 
iim thinking of making brackets to move the handbrake back about 8 inches and up about 3 to make it close to where it would be in a real escos, but thats messy with cable lenghts and stuff.
has any one come across this problem before or know a way of doing it cos i know it can be done and its doing my head in
