Maria, Bob looks awesome!! I will get some news pictures of Alfie tonight, our Giant, hes grown some since i last posted, but he;s nowhere near the size of bertha or bob yet, we are a bit worried hes not growing fast enough tbh, we want him to be massive!!!!!

you can get clipers for them, used to do it myself, but he freaks out now!
I actually paid for it at the vets yesterday, as i wanted his teeth checked, and nails done, total cost Ł11.33

its mint isnt it, he grunts as well quietly, ive read online that it means he is horny! hes gettin quite boistrous now, wants to nip you everytime you pick him up, and runs around you all the time! will get his balls cut off soon and that will hopefully calm him down!

Well.... i must be friggin mad! Meet Bimbo!
Well... ill tell you the story first! :lol
Whenever i go into pets at home, for the past 4 months i have seen this 'giant house rabbit' for sale... ive seen her grow from this teeny gangly thing, to a mid size bun, and it breaks my heart every time i see her!
Well, again, i went in today, and bless her heart she was still there! I thought 'maybe theres something wrong with her?' hence why she hadnt gone! So, i asked one of the girls to get her out for me to look at! This is where it all started going wrong!
First of all... she tried to pick the rabbit up BY ITS FRONT LEGS! So... i have literally had to barge her out the way to stop her ripping the poor things legs off! I said ''let me show you how to do it yeah?'' So, i picked the little girlie up, and sat on the floor with her! she was very calm and enjoyed aving her face rubbed.... so then i thought id check her over......
Her nails are incredibly long! she has obviously been in that little pen all her life! Her teeth are straight, but overgrown! She is a little underweight i think, i know you can feel all parts of a bunnys body, but with her even more so!
So.... i thought to myself i cant leave her here! I was getting angrier byt the minute!
So, i asked the girl, seeing as she had already been there so long, is there any money off the rabbit? She trotted off to her manager, came back and said no. Ł129! BUT we can give you a free bag of sawdust, hay, straw and food.
I sat there fussing her for about 10 minutes wondering what the hell to do..... and then said OK! ill take her!
The next thing i know is, the manager (apparently) is walking over to me asking me a few questions about where would she live? Would she be bonded? Blah de blah , which is fair enough! And i told her i already had two giants, who are spoilt rotten etc etc THEN... this is where it gets better!... then... she says to me ''well..... we know rabbits are impulse purchases, so, if you come back tomorrow, and you still want her, you can take her then'' I said ''i beg your pardon?'' So with a bit of tooing and fro-ing, she was saying that she wasnt going to give me the rabbit today, just in case i changed my mind! And that having a rabbit is a lot of responsibility, and i need to know in myself that i can look after it properly! I went MENTAL! This is EXACTLY (well nearly) what i said ''how dare you question me if i can look after a rabbit properly, when this poor little girl has been sat her for 4 months, with overgrown teeth, overgrown nails, and no other rabbit interaction!.... ill give you a choice, i will either take this rabbit now or not at all.'' needless to say i brought her home!
I asked them what breed she was, and dya know what they replied ''shes a giant house rabbit'' :erk: i said ''er.... ok.... but what is her breed?'' to which they replied ''that is her breed'' by this point i was close to knocking the thicko out, so i just bought a few bits and bobs (including an additional carrier as they had nothing for me to take her home in!) and then i left!
But i was FUMING at the pure and utter stupidity of these people... they even then had the cheek to try and preach to me on how to introduce different foods to her, and to check her regulalry.... i swear to god, if i didnt have that bun in the carrier next to me at the time, i wouldve seriously seriously lost the plot!

Shes lovely! and depending on how well she gets on with B&B will depend on if i actually keep her or not! but all i know is i HAD to get her outta there!

She looks very cute!! My missus wants another to be a friend for Alfie, but im not sure! good on you for having three!!! let us know how you get on with her, what will you do if you catn keep her?
