Thermotec
Whats your intention with the XR? I doubt you will find much cross compatability unless you are planning on a cut and shut floorplan with a view to converting the escort to cosworth spec.
Give us an idea of what you want your project to end up as and I'm sure one of us will be able to help you.

Well, what we want to do is to purchase a 1.8lt. XR3i and transform it to a escort Cosworth look from outside and mechanicly . YB 2.0 lt cosorth engine placement, with all 4X4 periphericals, diff.....
İs that possible, is it easy ? now very well sierra cosworths but no idea about XR3İ resemblance

Its a huge job. The shell of the Xr3i is totally different to an Escos shell. You need a Sierra Cosworth Floor plan or a Transmission tunnel put in somehow.
With Escos prices so much cheaper now, it cant make any sense to do this anymore surely?
Start with an Escos shell at least mate.

I see Porkie, thanks for the advise.. I live in Turkey, here it's very difficult to find parts, I travel to London surrondings to buy parts few times a year. I have a question for you.
I do havea sierra cosworth about 400-450 Whp. İt's 2WD !! I can not hold it on the road. I am not an expert like you since you have many ex. on those cars. I was advised to swap the diff with 9" ( I do not know where to get and what other cars will fit ??) and to change my extra hard track coilovers by standart gaz coilovers..
Please advise ..
Thanks
Sami

A decent geometry set up would be my first advice.
Also what size tyres and make of tyres are you using?
9' Ford Diffs are very strong but VERY expensive!
You would be far better spending your money on a decent rear beam set up than the Diff.
Speak to Mike Rainbird @ R&B motorsport for some hints and tips on suspension/tyres/ etc etc

like a 225 or 235 Section Toyo R888
With a decent rear beam, and some decent road tyres (Dunlop D01's I think) Road Tarry is putting down TWICE your power in 2nd gear.
As I said. Try speaking to Mike.
