they can be used with no fitting kit
but when bought new then you should use 1
its just the end caps and the rubber o-rings in the fitting kit
if they're 2nd hand(i imagine they are at that price) they will prob go straight in
as long as there is o-rings fitted they will work

As supplied by BOSCH they won't fit, thus someone, you or the person before neds to fit a kit, that is basically a collar that holds and additional seal on the top, without this bit not a snowballs chance in hell of stopping 3 bar spraying everywhere.
Depends whether the ones you want have it or not, I cut the very end of the cap off too, when using these, leaving just the other part on the injector.

As Tabs has said, cut the end off the cap for a better spray pattern.

that's a bit of a myth to be honest; i read a thread on it which stu commented on, he was saying they can be mapped the same as any other injector - i'll see if i can find the thread

but yeah; i'd have siemens blacks over any bosch
i had 55lb in mine

Just fitted greys in mine yesterday and i can't see how you could run without the kits (which you can buy from ebay for £16)

when you buy Bosch 0280 150 403 injectors NEW they need a fitting kit which allows them to fit the cossie fuel rail(without the kit they WILL NOT fit)

those in the ebay auction aint Bosch 403's!
