Well after a week in the UK i was surprised about the police cars in the UK. Focus ST,JAg????? and a freaking landrover? WTF where do they get the money from. Here in holland they drive mondies and vectra's and the highway police volvo V70 D5's. The unmarked police cars can be everything from impreza's to god knows what.

 

Got a met grey Evo unmarked floating round my way, nice to know my tax money goes to a good cause in funding high pursuit entrapment cars

 

Theyve got an unmarked, new model BMW 5 series (Poss m5 but it was dark) down here around Exeter

The mindset is to have cars that are reliable, no good having police cars stuck in the garage is it. Also you drive round London in a 5 year old Vectra and you stand out. That's why they have to got X5s and 5 series. You'll notice they aren't white either but Silvers and Blues and Reds (BTP) so they can be sold on more easily later.


He was showing a small independent Dutch film in the House of Lords. Hence why he met a lot of Police officers.

there has been a strickered up evo X kicking about central scotland for a few months seen it in glasgow and stirling

rumours are there are a few of them for scotland

 

i'm sure round our way we have the ferrari aswell it's for running up and down the m40 i think it's warwickshire that own it, jammy bastards, and harbourne/edgbaston have a massive police impound and they have everythink you desire i've even seen an unmarked 95 astra van with an england flag on it you just would never think they where coppers lol, funny how weir in recession but they still get new cars though

Police over here always had fast cars tho, Back in the day of Cosworths being new cars, some Forces used them! SD1's etc...they had them!

 

back 6 years ago there was a small amount of BMW police cars, usually for motorway use though and 1 or 2 in london,, NOW they the same amount of BMW cars as they have astras, all traffic now use the estate ones and they have general saloon BMW cars

oh and barnet hospital has a red stickered up Evo 9 rapid responce car !!!, the missus sees it a few times at her place as she works at the royal free hospital, i wanna drive a evo ambulance

 

A lot of it comes down to lease prices and resale values - you can spend less on a 3 series beemer than on a focus simply due to resale value/depreciation.

 

on this subject i saw a evo and a supra at 4am the other morning on a bypass,the evo got behind the supra and started flashing him,the supra took off and the evo aswell,i thought they were racing,a mile up the bypass the evo had him pulled over in a layby,wot a fookin dirty trick,but my bro said it not the 1st time they've goaded a high power car into a race then done em for it,wankers.

 

There was a skyline on TV a couple of weeks ago being kitted as a police car. It was seized for some reason and not claimed within the correct time frame, so was theirs to sell, crush or keep. What would you have done?

Round here the cops roll around in a Ford Ranger & an unmarked 52 reg metallic mint green Astra

 

round my way they've got unmarked diesel ford fusions lol before that they had a faded red corsa b 1.2. they got rid of it about 2 years ago. the marked ones are all focus's and transit's used to have a unmarked omega but i havent seen that for a year or so.

 

i treid racing that evo in potters bar before but he did not want to play

most of the round here now are 5 series diesels, there is also a prius

 

The vans round here are Mk5 & Mk6 Trannys & the riot vans are Merc Sprinters from around 2001. There is an unmarked blue Mk5 Transit too

my mates garage was raided last year in the summer by plain clothes north wales police, they had sniffer dogs in a m reg escort van and 4 coppers in a L reg escort hb shitter. if you don't know that north wales police use old cars for surveilance you do now, my mate knew there was somthing funny going on when he noticed they all had the same boots on. turns out they were targeting garages and scrap yards for money and drugs.useless fookers. nwp buy old minters from station motors mold and smoke around in them acting normal, they arn't as good as cheshire though, they use taxis with a copper driving and a coper passenger in the back, if your up to no good watch out for taxis.

 

Did you not see the speed cameras on every piece of road? they are good money making machines dont you know
