Default 650 BHP plenum 8 Injector set up

http://s620.photobucket.com/albums/t...ic-motorsport/
Hi guys i went to SCS today to talk to the lads there about one of there 450bhp T38 builds that seems tobe the way togo from what I`ve heard on this site ,while i was there Harvey had a cosworth engine running on the dyno and i watched it make over 650 bhp bloody thing was stunning to see ,and the guys at SCS let me take some pics of the set up .
It really was fantastic to see. This is somthing i wish i could afford one day but until then I`m sure I`ll be happy with one of harvey`s 450 bhp set ups
I,ve uploaded some pics I love the plenum they run on it I`ve never seen one like this befor along with the custom twin fuel rails and eight injectors it looked the nuts ...so enjoy them lads..and thanks to the guys at SCS for some straight talking no bullshit chat on whats the best engine build togo for with the best reliabilty for the bang and the bucks.

Interesting to see that 8 injectors is still a favoured set up, I would guess that the set firing directly into the intake bellmouths come in higher in the rev range?

Why, do you think there is something wrong with it?

I personally think the charge-cooling set up is amazing - looks like two 50mm cores welded together and jacketed?

I bet that keeps ACTs stable on the dyno !

8 injector is the best way foward ,with 4 injectors firing straight down the trumpets, all f1 ,world superbikes and moto gp bikes injectors fire down the bell mouths ,better atomisation and a straight path down to the inlet valve ,instead of firing at the inlet wall, which can cause droplets, ducati have been doing it for years ,thats one of the reasons rs500 plenum work well ,but this plenum takes it to a new level as in no elbow ,better and equal air distubution makes for better throttle response and big power

thats exactly it, with the four on top we can use the top bank so that it can be nice and drivable, then the back bank can come in as the power comes up so getting the big power
