but it just proves the true power of the PS3!
Sony still say that it is still early days for the PS3!

You keep creaming over the feature spec lists and video clips of things that don't exist and I'll keep enjoying the best gaming and on-line console. Sadly I can't get my nob in the disk slot but then I don't need to.

The future of the PS3 is in more doubt than the xbox. Microsoft make money on every unit sold, Sony lose money, and in this economic downturn - I wonder how long they will keep these losses going.
I guess the xbox is rather like the evo cars then, considerably cheaper than a cosworth and far better at what it was designed for!!!!

PS3 all the way!,just been playing my ps3 online for free,needed to browse the internet so i did it via playstation instead of fireing the pc up ( handy if your pc breaks) then watched 300 on blueray awesome!

we have a 360 upstairs & downstairs, PS3 & a Wii, 360's get more use than anything else...........
i would say the PS3 is the better machine, more up to date, the blue ray is ace, but the 360 has the legs on the PS3 where it has been out that much longer & is now so much cheaper to buy.

works spot on, i had a linksys router before but then went with o2 home BB and it still works perfect even with their router,
thats just amazons price, you may be able to get it even cheaper than that

I say get a PS3 miles better in my opinion, Gears of war was a massive let down for me. PS3 has better games, the only games the 360 has is Gears and Halo and both are crap compared to the likes of Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Uncharted. The one game i do like on my 360 is Fable 2. O and the 360 aint half noisy.

dvid in all honesty its a pointless arguement really, the 360's library is in better shape than the ps3 and thats it. gaming experience wise for the the average gamer the two consoles are as close as makes no difference.
If you want a blu ray, free online and simply cannot live without gran turismo (like me) buy a playstation, remember the prices wont stay like they are for too long so they will become more affordable sooner or later. In all honesty they are both superb consoles, ps3 just feels a bit more grown up IMO.
Don't know much about secrets though, i get kept in a dark room with a monitor, keyboard and a large hooded gimp with a whip beating me if i stop typing. Don't even get a phone lol

Yes there worth it, I have one currently, had a ps3 before and the graphics are a little better but the games are better on the 360 ino my opinion, ie no racer on the ps3 compaires to forza,
no not wireless out the box, but you dont want to be playing any games console wireless if you can help it, a long ethernet would be better
to get online you want a premium one, or a elite[one with a hardrive]

I'm still waiting for someone to explain how 360s are better at gameplay and online...I'm fucked if I can tell how the PS3 looses out?

Im glad you got sorted in the end, make sure you pick up Gears of War 1 & 2. Dead Rising is another good game that can be had for a pennies as is Ghost Recon. Forza 2 is the most advanced racing game on the consoles and Forza 3 is not that far off either.

not enough there to make me flog my PS3 and rush out and buy a 360...
for starters you can message anyone while online, installing games (for those that need it, not all games do) is done once when you first play it and takes all of 30 seconds on most games (with the exception of MGS4), loading times isn't even noticeable and I'm personally not bothered about hearing CDs while I'm playing anyway

if you go for the xbox make sure you get the 12.1 amp model as this has the revised chips etc which keeps it cooler thus avoiding the overheating problem or rrod. you can tell by looking through the cut out window in the box its just in the corner near the barcode.
