Does anybody know if there is any problem with PerformanceFord magazine?
As you know they edit its mag one month in advance. I have the january mag wich I recieved in december, and from that date I have nothing. The website still shows the january mag as the latest, and my subscrption is still valid.

 

anybody knows anything????

They're still going as usual. They lost a couple of staff members recently, so probably haven't got round to updating their website...

 

Why did they lose staff members? was it just Dave who is the editor now?

Nick is leaving to, new editor has been appointed and will be revealed in the next issue.
New features ed is a fella called Chris and new staff write is Alex.
Chris did the feature on my car this month and seemed really good, and the feature came out well, he has been on Retro Ford for the last year or so. Alex is a good friend of mine and a very good writer with heaps of knowledge and a real passion for it. I think the mag will only be pushed forward by them.

 

i think it's because he's in spain that he's not got the latest issue

others have got their's earlier this week

 

Will have to wait a month to see if the rumours are true then.

 

bring back ben and keith them was the good old days and knew how it should be done

 

Thats a slight dig is it not Alex.................. It seemed like they never really innovated m,uch with the mag during there time but thats just my view,

I agree they were ace, and both top top blokes too, but I genuinly think the new team are gonna do a great job mate, change is good in mags I think, they tend to go stale after a while I think.

 

no dig at all i know dave very well and he done both great write ups on both my car and fayes. theres good reson why they left.my last car going into the mag was piss poor write up and the other chap that left did not know one thing about fords .

none, they have just changed! people leave jobs, new people take their place, it happens!

 

dave is on to bigger and better things imo in what he is doing.

 

there is more then meets the eye dave and why they left.its not my place to say why.

I get the mag every month and i thought this months was a bit naff to be honest.I hope it gets better.

 

yeah there has to be something to make the new editor nick, leave within a month

Either that or theyve both been VERY lucky to get better job offers within a month of each other
