The drop braket only works on 2wd and early 4x4 cars where the PS pump is under the inlet manifold. The later 4x4's and Escorts have everything under the exhaust manifold and its all mounted on one big bracket. The drop bracket doesn't fit this big bracket as far as i'm aware? Unless you've changed that to a 2wd version too?

its early 4x4 saph set up,
pas pump is under inlet manifold,
its just that i cant even get the alt monting bracket to line uo with the holes on the drop bracket,
so i take it that i've got to cut off the lug thats in the way at the bottom of the block

Hi,

I suppose it is for machine transfer manufacturing.
To obtain a point reference positioning for block at the beginning of process.

Regards.
