Has anybody recently bought management and got some up do date pricing?
Also who do you have to map it and where are they based.
I'm interested in....

Omex 710
AEM
Motec
Dta s60 pro
CheeRS

The best advice anyone can give you is to choose a tuner and go with their recomendations !
Especially if you are not going to fit and/or map it yourself !!
If you are not doing either, it may be that you need the existing set up modified.
You wont notice the difference unless you want extra stuff like ALS etc...

I'm running megasquirt. It's speed density. It bolted right onto my harness and it has a self tuning function that just plain rocks for a daily driver that gets modded often. Take it to the rollers and dial in the power curve for 11.8 AR and it's very easily tuned.

Hi Rob, deffo go with your local tuner unless you have no budget.
travelling and revisit's get very expense and beleive me you will make lots of visit's for mapping. you will have issues, daft ones yes but anything that stops the mapper progressing is only going to cost.
omex looks brill
dta very easy to understand interface for home tinkering

Cheers lads, got some good options....think i'm sorted.
Lee i know what you mean about the travel to the mapper, especially with something like my build you know its not going to be straight forward but i think its worth going to see the man in the know.

get what ya pay for, you know that
there are plenty of awesome mappers rob. i doubt going to the reputed best will give significant power over another reasonable well respected tuner.
i'm liking gary @ apt for motec and others
darren @ nobles for dta/omex
mark for autronic
nick from NR sport (not sure what management is his touch)

Half Rice Half Chips
DTA Price
hi mate,
im building a 2.0 zvh, im now going with DTA s40pro, for the ecu and custom loom it is 650, the mapping is going to be around 200 which is the cheapest by far I have found. It is going to be done by a local company which was recommended to me by one of my rally customers, they are very oldschool which I found very comforting as they talked sense with no bull shit
Hope this helps mate

Id say if going for DTA...at least go for the S60. Opens up a few more features etc.
As for getting what you pay for. Not totally true. You could buy a Motec etc and gain nothing over a much cheaper ecu.
He needs to speak to whichever tuner he decides to use, and what ecu they prefer, as long as it fulfills all his requirements.

Ive had a bit chat to Mark at MADevelopments and he's sorting it out.
Ive just gotta chuck the engine in, run it in then fit the new ecu and get it down to him for mapping.
