a quality artical by c&cc

Just as he walks off, Collins turns around. "Oh, and Ayrton, I'll be on the 'phone next week about my test drive in your JPS, OK?" Ayrton Senna smiles. "OK, Phil, no problem. We just have to fit a passenger seat, that's all.”

damn right, really is a quick piece of kit. he nearly killed us in it several years back on the wyedean rally lol, missed the left at the junction, but didnt go straight on, he twitched right, aimed at us, and then put it sideways skimming us all the man is a nutter!! awesome to watch tho!

I dont read anywhere he says it better ( i've included the article below just so you can highlight the bit where he says the Nova is a better car than the Cosworth), he merely comments it's more front biased with more positive front end and a looser rear.......this is merely a statement made by a man who hasnt yet fully committed his brain to the 4wd cars and how to get the best traction out of them....as the rest of the interview/article goes on to demonstrate. In fact he then goes on to say the Golf is the better to drive as it understeers a bit more and gives him more confidence

I's be very surprised at the end of the day if his fav car of the day wasnt Ford based and Ford powered with an XTRAC transmission given what he says further on tho.

The Nova has returned and Ayrton is putting the car in perspective. It has a limited-slip differential fitted to tie down the front end. "You're always fighting. Even when you are on the straight. The steering wheel is twitching and the back of the car is moving around. Is not so powerful. So in some ways is easier to drive. Is slower reaction to the throttle than the Sierra. The Sierra is nervous - when you touch it, it goes away. So here is easier. "But you have a much better front here than in the Sierra. Here, you can position the front end where you want, and the rear is the loose bit. The Sierra is a more equal car - and if you don't use the power you start understeering. This is a much more positive-front car."
