Mondeo p.a.t.s. Immob????

does anyone know if the key on the mondeo pats system is coded to the ecu or just the pickup on the the steering column?

the ring around steering coloumn (pats transiever) is basically a signal booster from the key to the pcm or pats module dependant on year spec etc
