I got hit by a car in december, and have been working on and off, as sometimes the pain is too much,
Had a shit xmas, and me being injured caused some problems between me and the wife, nothing serious just small arguments etc, as she is working flat out and me only working when i can,
I have been sleeping on the sofa most nights as i cant handle the stairs..
i dont want to go into this too much but i got diagnosed with cancer on thursday,
im in my young 20's. and i dont know what to think or feel, me and my wife argue, i dont get on with my family, and only my wife and a few close mates know, but its just way too much to deal with.

Everything is beatable. Giving up is not. Kirk once said "I don't believe in the no win scenario."
Stay positive friend.
I'm guessing testicular cancer. I have more than one buddy that's beat it. Western medicine rocks these days. You're in good hands.

My dad has recently had his voicebox removed due to cancer, a avid smoker he was before, but he's still here going strong at 67.
As said chin up mate, life is what you make it, so decide to go on or not, sorry to be blunt, but you are already doing what you can so you are fighting for yourself.
I wish you the best of luck with all treatment.
I know where you are coming from, I was the vitim of a hit and rub DD, spent 19 months in hospital, first three in a coma on ventilator life support etc, had 17 hours emergency work when taken to hosp, 37 fractures later I walk with a limp but no sticks or anything, and worked afterwards, till my back gave in, along with knee joints both breaking.
I was on a motorcycle within 2 days of getting out of hosp with my crutches(had at time) bungeed on!!
I said to myself "My life, I am the master of my own ship so set my own destiny"
Anyway best of luck, remember there are others who rely on you too.

I lost a good mate about 2 & a half years ago, he was hit by a tractor. I was only 14.
Things can only get better, & I know how it feels to be down. Dont let it bring you down.
