Lloyd - if there's a team being put together - i'll go in. Not that i expect to be battling head to head but hopefully a 450bhp focus will be a relatively good all rounder - apart from top speed depending on what distance it's over as i'm on a short ratio box!!!

Apologies if this comes over oddly / badly... but WTF?
So everyone in Time Attack uses R888s and gets on ok with them, yet your Dad won't run them or use them, nor enter Time Attack because he has to use them?
It's a control tire, they're all on them and they race week after week. Some have a lot more power than your Dad, some have a lot less. Yet for some reason your Dad can't do the same as they do?
Most bizarre thing I've read in recent weeks.
His car would be awesome at TOTB I'm sure, as would Martin's Escort and Andy G's Focus.
Just needs the owner's to want to go, and we have an instantly promising team.
I wish I had a flagship demonstrator, I'd be at the event without fail showing what the car could do.

ive watched a few videos of time attack cars end up in the gravel cause they cant get round the corner or theyre drifting round it !
whereas the old man prefers to drive around a corner and be in control of the car,
he dosnt get on with them at all, its just his opinion, i also know mike r didnt get on with them too well, also i know dave cockell didnt like his other than at one track
id love to see him enter but hes made up his mind that he wont be driving the car on 888's again so i dont think im gonna be able to make him change his mind to drive 3hours to get his ass whooped by some 800hp jap cars lol

I am finished with Jim senior now. I specifically asked him not to phone me whilst I was in a press conference with Ron Dennis and the next thing I know he's on the blower asking me about internal shed gates. I've told him three times now the padlock goes on the outside.
