Is it actually an N-Reg or is that a private plate?

Steering wheel suggests it's a later model, but heater panel suggests it's an earlier model and the steering wheel is a later addition.

If it's an N-Reg I'd be pretty sure it's Nikasil

It must be N reg or newer to be aloud a private "N" plate anyway.....

It is a August 95 car

I know that's what I meant, was it an N-reg or newer, as it has a few bits from a late-96-onwards car.

If it's a August 1995 I'm 99% sure it's Nikasil

Well I would have thought that after over 13 years if there was a problem, it would have been rectified, but it's best to check if you're unsure

Welcome to the BMW fold

Very tidy example you have there, the only quirk I have with it, is the odd steering wheel and dash colour combination.

I used to love the E36's but they are starting to look quite dated now imo, BUT that is a nice looking one bodywork looks mint.
The nikasil thing is a bit worrying I thought you would have known about that, but tbh its over-rated anyway, as long as it doesn't rattle at idle you should be fine.

Great looking car, noticed at advertised looks proper tidy for the year.

Looking for an E36 M3 myself, was after a scoob or FRS but really fancy one of these.

I've seen a Red coupe in Scotland that i wouldn't mind looking at
