You dont really need a remap for a stage 1 in my opinion.
If you really feel you want one then MSD or NMS as said above

The 044 fuel pump is an overkill and the standard pump is more than enough for stage 1 providing the wiring and pump itself are in good condition.
Having said that, replacing it if you can afford to do it is a good move.

Does it only miss fire on boost or hard acceleration ?
When it does miss fire, does the rev count stay smooth reading or does it jump about ?

If yes to both questions above, its most likely the plug gaps are too big or the wrong plugs.
Try gaps of 0.5mm as a test.

If the rev count jumps around, you probably have a crank sensor fault.

although if your just going for a setup to get rid of the misfire i'd change the cheap things first

what plugs do you use and what are they gapped at
standard fuel pump is fine at your power level - just make sure its rewired for a direct feed from the battery (very very important!)

live map is circa £500 and they'd need the car for about a week

when you want to go stage 3, providing your spec is straight forward and nothing wild - get a decent off the shelf chip from MSD (motosport developments) and take it too MAD in berskshire - job done

why on earth would you advise someone to get a chip from one place and have it set up at another?

errm..... because most people buy chips from MSD and set them up themself, like i did, its piss easy

Stu at MSD recommends Mark at MAD to install his chips and set them up.....what's strange about that

Twelsie,

Normally I would agree to a point but MAD have checked over many cars using MSD chips in the past.
CossieRich before he got his new conversion for example !
