Really really fuming at the moment.

Just hit a pot hole and the car now drives like a banana. I'm sitting in the office now fuming trying to find out who I need to speak to about it with regards to submitting a claim.

Spent out money having bits added for Beds and now the car's taken a bash

Did you stop and take a photo of the pot hole for evidence to shove under the council's nose. Not that they give a fuck of course. This on the rs turbo?

No on the Audi. I didn't get photos but I will at lunch and measure them. Bad thing is I work for the local authority as a street lighting engineer and I'm still having a ball ache trying to find out who to talk to about it. On the plus side the longer it takes me the more I'm calming down which is probably for the best

I had this happen to my S2 RST years ago in Bucks. I called the police who gave me the contact info for Bucks Council. They paid for new wheel and tyre - Luckily all suspension check out ok.

It appears that if council have marked it with spray paint or similar they can deny liability - Seems odd to me.

Good luck with your claim.
Cheers, TommysKeeper

I had an accident that punctured my fuel tank thanks to a discarded bit of drain cover in the road during some roadworks. Luckily it was stuck in the tank so i had it as evidence, the council had a claims department, sent me a cheque for the full amount I was invoiced for the repairs

hope you get it sorted with minimum hassle mate
