I can't see anyone that has questioned the figures?
Unless you are referring to my comment regarding ponies and horses, which was just a bit of playful banter with Rich in mock retalliation to his TUV pisstake .

I was asked via PM to take alook, came on decided not to get invoved & said exactly that, unlike many of you lads im busy working on various car projects & cant spend vast amounts of time on here.

Nothing to do with you Mike its the likes of the twirp above that stops my input into these threads now, so glad when its all over, getting tired & pissed off with the whole thing.

If you wish to post your feelings about Rod, I recomend you do it somewhere other than a thread where the thread starter clearly isnt asking for peoples opinions of each other.
Would it also not cause the valves to not fully close?
it could do, yes. but i don't think that is what happens.
on a track session, the oil gets too hot and thin and will not support the pressure necessary for the valves to be opened fully therefore restricting the amount of air/fuel getting into the engine. i don't know if that's the case on a top speed run
