Are the engine exact the same as the big turbo models, diffrent rocker cover dont they?

Head is slightly different, oil pump has no spray bar, the block has WRC spray jets as std. There is a much smaller/No (can't remember which) core plug in the back of the block, and there is a crank windage tray instead of sump baffles. Inlet and exhaust manifolds are different.

EECIV bottom end is better, but the head is restrictive and needs more work to get the required flow.

Inlet plenum is less restrictive, plus all the other points that Will mentioned .

ST has rounded cam cover, all other Cosworths have a flat square cam cover.

They have 4 coil packs one on each spark plug.

erm, day to day, one im lookin at is ash black, 71tho never been rebuilt so gonna leave it standard 4 now. Check this link put a pic of it.

My big turbo model running stage 3 has done 108k now and the bottom end has never been touched so I wouldn't worry too much as long as it's been serviced correctly.
