Are the engine exact the same as the big turbo models, diffrent rocker cover dont they?

 

Head is slightly different, oil pump has no spray bar, the block has WRC spray jets as std. There is a much smaller/No (can't remember which) core plug in the back of the block, and there is a crank windage tray instead of sump baffles. Inlet and exhaust manifolds are different.

small turbo engine without a doubt. All pros and no cons!

 

EECIV bottom end is better, but the head is restrictive and needs more work to get the required flow.

Inlet plenum is less restrictive, plus all the other points that Will mentioned .

 

Does the small turbo engine have a distributor?

 

erm mike can you and will go into more detail, like witch is the small turbo version, witch rocker cover etc!

 

ST has rounded cam cover, all other Cosworths have a flat square cam cover.

They have 4 coil packs one on each spark plug.

 

Its 1 pack per 2 plugs (being pedantic)

 

They are actually in pairs , so just two.

But what are you intentions at a later date?

 

My big turbo model running stage 3 has done 108k now and the bottom end has never been touched so I wouldn't worry too much as long as it's been serviced correctly.

 

-Can i get 330bhp?
-Hows the boost controlled on these?
-wat injecter setup?
-First cossy im goin to look at, wat i wanna look out 4????
im only used to 2wd cossy, had 1 for 6 years.
