Vauxhall Vectra blowing cold air
my mate has a problem with the heater in his car blowing cold air. He's changed the thermostat and still no good. The two pipes going into the matrix are hot and luke warm, the temperature gauge sometimes goes near the red and then it would drop to normal and then go up again. (fluctuates). There are no sign of any water leaks.

If you take the trim off on the driver footwell next to the heaterbox, youll see an actuator rod that normally jams that opens the cold/hot air flap. just give it a nudge and it should start working. Ive done quite a few of these at work so id bet thats what it is. (IF its a vectra C)
