Default Man United top of the league!!!

(still) As I said and got slated for, Liverpool were top because they were the only big team doing better than last year! Anyone recall United 14th doing the worst of the top teams well now they are top with the most points and best goal difference. Special mention for breaking the record of not conceding a goal in the Premiership also.

"this is our year" Liverpool are a joke, never won the Premier never will, United Chlesea all the way! Go on Villa!

1 Man Utd 22 29 50 2 Liverpool 22 22 47 3 Aston Villa 23 14 47 4 Chelsea 22 29 45 5 Arsenal 22 13 41 6 Everton 22 4 36

Sorry couldn't help myself! 3 points gap though is special considering your start and ours, what did we say any more than 5 points and I win the bet? I'd take 1 point title win still a long way to go yet, hoping though.

I might even send you a set of Premier gold shirt badges just so you can pretend.

So out of 23 games this season including 6 away wins on the bounce, their third place is all down to the one goal and game Heskey has played.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggg gggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhht!

O'Neil is a brilliant manager tho and Villa are a very very well run club.

erm, we hit third last night by winning, and that win was due to a goal, scored by emile heskey....

clearly humour has escaped you in your strive to gain one-upmanship on any1 u see fit, even if it does result in blatant disregard for common sense

of course i know villa are 3rd on merit over the course of the season

i apologise massively for my apparently misplaced jest, i should never joke about the suprise of villa being 3rd, or that emile heskey scored a goal

The good thing is they've done it with a lot of first team players out of action recently. Its been good to see some home grown talent coming through & some of the new younger players getting a look in. This season is looking good & the future is bright for a few more after this I hope.

Repeat after me 'Manchester are the greatest team in the land- current Premier, European & World Champions' that means all other teams are inferior.
Although you are a fellow MAD person your taste in Football teams falls below the expected standard .
See ya soon big fella .

Yes but you're signing Shay Given today aren't you and he's class, wouldn't mind him at United. Gets rid of that wally you've currently got in goal, lol.

Nice to see Wembley get the 2011 Euro CL final as a side note.

Man city going for kaka and ending up with bellamy and bridge - classic

Much respect to Villa - Martin O'Niell is a top manager, they have a brilliant board who let him manage the team his way, buy who he wants and he has them playing quality football. Genuinely hope they can beat Liverpool to 3rd or even Get infront of Chelsea in 2nd, they deserve it

Kaka thought there was no way he had the class to compete with Vassell, Benjani and Bellamy for a place in the team

Back to the top of the league again for us with a game in hand, nice. Would have been a travesty if Liverpool fluked Portsmouth with that Crouch backpass etc then got closer.

Villa still going well and surely going to nag someone out of the top 4!!

Hope so but can't see it, FA cup is tricky anyone can knock you out, Carling final he's skimming the team where Redknapp will go all out to win his second ever trophy and Euro Champions league has that Crucible style curse where teams that won it often go out early next year.
