Default offsets and brake clearance,

would rl7s (17s) from an escort cossie think off set if 15 or 20,be ok in my arches on 3-door and clear ap 6 pots?

What width are they Col ? could be made to fit but would mean a hell of a lot of cutting and messing about.

im not sure if they are 7s or 8s neil,would i need to trim the kit?not really wanting to do that?

YIp would think you would need to trim more than the plastic kit , would need to roll the arches aswell. Look how wide escos wheels sit on a 3 door.

serous trimming will be required if ET15 offset....anyone remember the hamlet advert with the ford anglia?

Was just looking for the pic of my car with one of your 3 door wheels on it Kev to show how far in they sit but must of deleted it.

an escort cossie looks like it is sitting on castors with 3 door wheels on it so imagine it the other way round with ET15s, IIRC standard offset escos wheels are ET25
