Default has any one tried l6 coz management on a pinto turbo

could do with somone who has messed with pinto turbos and cosworth management cant get mine to run right

The last one I encountered was a capri. It was built up using a spare complete 205 YB short motor that I donated, a big valve pinto head and megasquirt along with a T4 turbo.


They aint plug-and-play...they are plug-and-arse-about, lots.

Whilst in france the capri came on boost then decided it didnt like its own propshaft so it spat it out Which I and my mate (pictured) on foot

You need to figure out some way of triggering the cam phase sensor.

have done all this dizzy cranck sensor it will run but wont boost without moving the crank sensor it just holds back BUT RUNS WELL WITH CRANK SENSOR MOVED A BIT stu says it must be my set up but cant see how HELP 07724045733 AM GOING MAD

You need to check with a timing light the ignition pulse is correct.

Start with idle speed

If all that checks out then it needs mapping, you will need to consult an expert for that.
